CDNC PRIVACY POLICY

CDNC Studio (“CDNC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is developing an iPhone camera and color workflow. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit cdnc.app, join the CDNC founding list, communicate with us, or participate in pre-release research or beta opportunities. This policy currently covers the CDNC website and pre-release communications. Before a public beta or App Store release, we will update it to describe any information collected by the CDNC app itself.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you provide — We may collect your email address when you join the founding list; optional form information you choose to provide; messages, feedback, and survey responses; and information needed to administer beta access if you are invited. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the website or ordinary email.
Website and device information — We and our service providers may receive limited technical information when you visit the site, including browser and device type, approximate location derived from an IP address, referring page, pages viewed, and interactions with the site. CDNC currently uses: • Framer Analytics for cookie-free, aggregate website analytics. • Meta Pixel, only after you accept marketing tracking, to measure page visits and selected interactions such as a founding-list registration. • Intuit Mailchimp for founding-list registration, email delivery, campaign engagement, list management, and spam prevention.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to send the updates you requested; respond to questions and feedback; consider and administer beta participation; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and communications; understand aggregate site use; evaluate campaign performance; measure advertising results when marketing tracking is accepted; comply with legal obligations; and protect CDNC, our users, and others.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share information with service providers that help us operate CDNC, including Framer, Intuit Mailchimp, Meta when marketing tracking is accepted, Google Workspace, and professional advisers or contractors working under appropriate obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws use broader definitions of “sale” or “sharing” that may include targeted-advertising disclosures. Where required, you can decline or withdraw permission for Meta marketing tracking through the site’s privacy controls.
EMAIL CHOICES
You can stop marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each message. We may retain a limited suppression record so we can honor your choice.
TRACKING CHOICES
Essential site technology operates normally because it is needed to display, secure, and operate the site. Framer’s built-in analytics are cookie-free and aggregate. Meta marketing tracking remains off unless you select Accept marketing. If you select Essential only, CDNC will not intentionally activate Meta Pixel for that visit. You can reopen Privacy choices from the site footer.
RETENTION
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Founding-list information is generally retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to limited suppression and legal records.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; receive a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain targeted-advertising disclosures. To make a request, email mark@cdnc.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
CDNC and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different privacy laws from where you live.
CHILDREN
The CDNC website and founding list are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age at which parental consent is required.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as CDNC develops or our practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
