CDNC PRIVACY POLICY

CDNC Studio LLC ("CDNC," "we," "us," or "our") provides the CDNC iPhone app and operates cdnc.app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the CDNC app, visit our website, join a beta or mailing list, or communicate with us.
THE CDNC IPHONE APP
Data collected by CDNC — CDNC does not collect personal data from the iPhone app. The app does not use advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or an account system. CDNC does not receive your videos, photos, camera or microphone content, editing choices, creative presets, device identifiers, precise location, or contact information through the app.
On-device access, purchases, and support — CDNC may request access to your camera, microphone, and photo library so you can record, import, save, and export media. This processing occurs on your device. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit; CDNC does not receive payment-card or Apple Account credentials. Diagnostics remain on-device unless you intentionally export and share them for support.
WEBSITE, EMAIL, AND BETA COMMUNICATIONS
Information you provide may include your email address when you join a CDNC mailing list or TestFlight program, optional form information, messages, feedback, survey responses, support details, and information needed to administer beta access. Our website and service providers may receive limited technical information such as browser and device type, approximate IP-derived location, referring page, pages viewed, and site interactions. CDNC uses Framer for hosting and aggregate analytics, Meta Pixel only when marketing tracking is allowed, and Mailchimp or MailerLite for forms and email delivery.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use website, email, beta, and support information to provide requested access, communications, and support; respond to questions and privacy requests; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and communications; understand aggregate site use; measure advertising results when permitted; comply with legal obligations; and protect CDNC, our users, and others.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share website, email, beta, and support information with service providers that help us operate CDNC, including Framer, an email service provider such as Mailchimp or MailerLite, Meta when marketing tracking is enabled, Google Workspace, and professional advisers or contractors. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information for money.
YOUR CHOICES
You can stop marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in each message. Essential website technology operates because it is needed to display, secure, and operate the site. Framer’s built-in analytics are cookie-free and aggregate. Meta marketing tracking remains off unless you select Accept marketing. If you select Essential only, CDNC will not intentionally activate Meta Pixel for that visit. You can change your choice through the site’s privacy controls.
RETENTION
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including requested communications, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Mailing-list information is generally retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to limited suppression and legal records. Information stored by the CDNC app remains on your device until you delete it, remove it through the app or system, or uninstall the app, subject to iOS backup and storage behavior.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; receive a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain targeted-advertising disclosures. To make a request, email mark@cdnc.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
CDNC and its service providers may process website, email, beta, and support information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different privacy laws from where you live. Our service providers are responsible for using appropriate transfer safeguards where required.
CHILDREN
CDNC is not directed to children below the age at which parental consent is required, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website, mailing lists, or support channels. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as CDNC develops or our practices change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
