App privacy and optional ad measurement — CDNC does not require an account and does not display third-party ads inside the app. Your videos, photos, audio, imported LUTs and editing choices remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them. They are not sent to Meta through CDNC’s ad-measurement integration.

Starting with CDNC 1.3, ad measurement is optional and off by default. If you allow it in CDNC and grant Apple’s tracking permission, CDNC shares limited information with Meta to help measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. This includes your device’s advertising identifier, app-open and eligible installation events, and completed paid Pro purchases. Events include their time and a random event identifier. Purchase events also include the Pro product, actual transaction amount and currency. Meta receives normal connection information, including your IP address, which can be used to infer approximate location.

Meta may combine this information with information it holds from other apps, websites and sources for advertising measurement, personalized advertising and recommendations, improving its products, and safety and security, as described in Meta’s Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/. CDNC does not send Meta your contact information, payment-card details, Apple Account credentials, App Store receipts or Apple transaction identifiers through this integration. Apple continues to process purchases and subscriptions.

You can decline without losing any CDNC features or changing your Pro prices or trial eligibility. Turn measurement off in Settings → Privacy & Ad Measurement, or manage CDNC’s tracking permission in iPhone Settings. In versions before 1.3.6, turning it off stops new measurement requests, cancels requests in progress and clears locally pending measurement. In 1.3.6 and later, turning Meta measurement off stops new CDNC event submissions and clears CDNC’s pending commerce records, but events already handed to Meta’s SDK may still complete delivery. Cancellation cannot retract information already transmitted or delete information Meta already received. Allowing measurement again does not report purchases made while it was off.

CDNC keeps consent preferences and limited purchase/trial and request-status records on your device. Apple transaction identifiers are used locally to verify purchase relationships and prevent duplicate reporting; they are not sent to Meta. Withdrawing Meta consent clears CDNC’s pending purchase intents, pending trial checks and unsent commerce events; SDK delivery already in progress is subject to the version-specific limits above. Duplicate-prevention records may remain with app data. Deleting the app and its data removes that local copy, subject to iOS backup and restore behavior; it does not delete Meta’s copy.

Optional TikTok measurement in supported versions — TikTok measurement is optional and off by default. Only if you allow it in CDNC and grant Apple’s tracking permission, CDNC shares app activation, eligible new installs, verified trial starts and eligible paid Pro-purchase events with TikTok to measure and improve CDNC advertising. A trial start is not paid revenue. Events include their time and a random identifier; trial events include the Pro product, and paid purchases also include amount and currency.

TikTok’s SDK processes advertising and vendor/device identifiers, app/session information, device model, OS/app/SDK versions, language/locale, and ordinary connection information including IP address and IP-derived approximate location. TikTok may combine partner information with other information for advertising measurement, personalized advertising, recommendations, product improvement and safety/security under its regional privacy policy: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy.

CDNC does not send TikTok your footage, edits, LUTs, contacts, Apple Account credentials, payment-card details, receipts or Apple transaction identifiers. In versions before 1.3.6, automatic SDK app events are disabled. In 1.3.6 and later, TikTok’s native install detection runs only after permission is granted; other automatic event types, including automatic payments and retention events, remain disabled. Technical-monitor uploads, crash collection and remote screenshots remain disabled.

The same in-app and Apple permission controls described above apply to TikTok. Turning measurement off stops new requests, cancels in-progress SDK requests and clears unsent events and purchase intents. Cancellation cannot retract data already transmitted or delete TikTok’s copy. Re-enabling does not replay events cleared on withdrawal or report purchases made while measurement was off. Consent and duplicate-prevention records remain on your device as described above.

TikTok’s retention, international processing and privacy controls are governed by its regional privacy policy; CDNC does not promise a separate TikTok deletion deadline. Website and app permissions remain separate. This description covers supported future versions; adding this disclosure does not itself enable TikTok measurement in an installed version.

Updated Meta measurement in supported versions — When you explicitly accept the updated Meta notice in CDNC and grant Apple’s tracking permission, the integration also reports verified free-trial starts separately from paid purchases. A trial-start event identifies the Pro product but does not contain paid revenue. Events include app identifier, build and version, OS version, language/locale and time-zone information for app-event delivery. Existing permission is not silently expanded: the updated notice requires a fresh in-app opt-in, and declining does not affect features, checkout, prices or trial eligibility. The same withdrawal, retention and Meta policy terms above apply. This disclosure does not itself enable tracking in an installed app.

Native SDK measurement in 1.3.6 and later — After permission, Meta’s official SDK handles installation and app-session reporting and receives advertising and vendor/device identifiers, app/session information, device model, OS/app/SDK versions, language/locale and ordinary connection information. CDNC submits verified trial starts separately from actual paid purchases. Automatic purchase collection, optional interface metadata and product-improvement collection, and SDK crash/error collection are disabled. Existing Meta permission is not silently migrated to the updated integration. New onboarding may present one Apple tracking-permission prompt naming both Meta and TikTok; allowing it enables both optional integrations, and each can later be turned off separately in CDNC. Existing declines and partner-specific choices are preserved. Declining does not affect app features, checkout, prices or trial eligibility. Apple’s separate privacy-preserving install reporting does not require this permission. This disclosure covers the supported update and does not itself enable tracking in an installed version.
